Latin immersion

I want to learn latin but I havent been able to find any "immersion" to go with the books I'm using.  I'm not even sure that such a thing exists, but it seems that some sort of immersion might make learning the language somewhat easier and more fun.  Is there anything like that out there?

Why would you want to learn a dead language?

My college Latin professors have spoken of this conference in Kentucky, it's probably the closest you'll find to immersion.  However it's really not designed for early learners, if you can't read the Latin on the page, then it's not for you.  Many universities still offer Latin as foreign language credit, I highly recommend that route.  I learned more in the first two weeks of class than I did during the previous two years that I had Wheelock's Latin on my bookshelf.

Latin immersion
Needs time machine. Vatican doesn't really count here.

Don't change these.
