JP learning sites

Want to learn the basics of japanese grammar etc... some words (colors, animals, whatever's good for the beginning), some hiragana/katakana/those-glyphs-they-use. Anyone knows good sites with stuff like that?

Also, online dicts say that blue in japanese is 'ao' and green is also 'ao'. Could someone explain this?
