How to learn Japanese??? Nihongo help

Name: Anonymous 2010-07-10 16:04

How can watashi (Japanese for I) learn Nihongo (Japanese for Japanese)? Watashi (Japanese for I) have studied some kotobatachi (Japanese for words - I'm not sure, but I guess anata can pluralize words in Nihongo by adding tachi?) from Japanese in 10 Minutes a Day hon (Japanese for book). It's a totemo ii hon (Japanese for very good book).

So my question desu (Japanese for is) - how can watashi learn Japanese? I'm kinda bogged down by hirigana and katakana and so I can only use romanji.... >.< Help, kudasai!! domo arigato gozaimasu!!!

Actually code switching is way to go. It allows one to use constructions from one language that are not possible at all( or not natural) in other language. I don't use it while speaking, but when think, I mix all languages that I can. It dristically increase speed of thinking.

Take that, Sapir. Take that, Whorf.
