Improving my Czech

German learning Czech here. I want to support my studies by watching some TV. What are some nice streams, news for example? Also, is there a Czech language chan?

That's not true. I'm a foreigner in the CZR and many people here speak only Czech, Russian, some broken German if you're lucky or a little English if they're under twenty. Some few I've met speak near perfect English, but I'd be fucked if I didn't speak a little Czeck.

Let's rather discuss how the Czechs speak English, which can be hilarious at times.

Czechs keeps asking me "does it taste you?" when I'm eating. It's probably a word-for-word translation of either "schmäckt es dir" or "to ti chutná". There are other variations, such as "do you taste it?"; "tastes you it?"

I love Czechs.

I probably should have mentioned that I don't live in Prague, where Czech English-speakers are more common.
