As I understand the Pimsleur series, you're supposed to listen to one lesson each day? What about listening to two lessons each day? Would absorption really be that much worse?

I use Pimsleur, the 1 lesson a day thing is really just to fit the average person's schedule, to give them instructions to follow. People like instructions.
If you have the previous lesson down good, then go ahead and take another one.
