Learning Icelandic

I'm looking for really simple things I can practice and learn from, not newspapers but more like resources for kids learning to read. Basic but above the "Hello, my name is... how are you?" standard dialogue. Songs and tv works too.

I have a bunch of resources for learning Icelandic or just websites in Icelandic, et cetera, if anyone is interested.
