Czech Question Thread

Go.

Could someone translate this here please?

Jeden nákup v obchodáku za tisíc je rozdíl i 300 korun a kupuje se pro několik sousedů.

I know every single word of it but somehow I don't get the full meaning.
Help is much appreciated.

v

lol how is "v" a word.  it doesn't even have a vowel.

v means "in" and you just connect it with the following word, in this case obchodáku, so you say "vobchodáku".
There are words without any vowels though, like zmrzl, blb, vlk or prst.

And thus Little Timmy discovered the phonetically barren world of Slavic languages.

I am Czech and this doesn't really make sense in Czech.

"One purchase in mall that costs 1000 crowns is even 300 crowns difference and is bought for more neighbours."

WTF

I think it was translated to Czech from some other language through googletranslate. The original message was probably something like "one purchase 1000 crowns can be even 300 crowns cheaper in mall than in a close by shop". I am Polish so everything makes sense to me, even Czech.

OP here, I didn't expect answers here anymore. Thanks!

By the way this text is from novinky.cz, so I guess this site just sucks.

Don't change these.
