Silent Letters in Latin

Quick question, does the Latin language contain any silent letters? So far my Google-fu is yielding negative results, but I thought I'd ask someone who actually knows Latin.

Studied latin for 6 years, can't really think of anything unless you get really pedantic with things like the name Gnaeus; but even there the G modifies the sound of the n...  Sometimes the Romans would also elide letters, like if they combined the word in with a word starting with m, the n would transform to an m.

But, unless you want to go down that path, the answer is a no (not off the top of my head anyway).  Factors to consider which might change this answer: different schools of latin pronunciation, different eras of latin, different transliterations of latin inscriptions.

Wiki says ecclesiastical latin has a silent "h".

Don't change these.
