Speaking native language with wierd accent...

Name: Gustaf 2009-08-17 6:16

Alright, English is my native language.  I've been studying Spanish for 4 years, German for 1, and informally studying Swedish for the last few weeks.

So, while speaking English, for some reason, when my brain goes on "auto pilot" I start to talk in this really weird stereotypical Eastern European / Russian-esqe accent, plus I roll all my R's.

It's really starting to piss me off... is this normal for people who are learning foreign language, or am I just a retard?

I only speak English French and Spanish. And hardly Spanish, and barely French. But I don't speak with a Spanish or French accent. More so a mix of British, Scottish, and Irish as far as accents go. And I've had that for as long as I can remember. So i think your just retarded ya. But I am kinda too...

Don't change these.
