I was wondering if anyone speaks Japanese with a Russian accent.
How does it sound?
Does anyone have any audio/video links?

Generally, it merges all unstressed "a" and "o" sounds into something middle, although they still are a little distinct from each other. Same goes for unstressed "e" and "i". Nasal "ng" is not present, and ん at end of words is always clear. Syllables like きょ, にゃ, りゅ etc are pronounced somehow... um... contracted? I mean, average Japanese person would pronounce きょ as soft "k" + "yo", while Russian would say just soft "k" + "o".
