I've been wondering for a while, what kind of stereotypes do Japanese people have about Americans speaking Japanese? For example, in the United States, there is the stereotype that an Asian speaking English cannot pronounce L's or TH's correctly, is there a similar stereotype for Americans speaking japanese?

I don't know, but isn't it obvious? We pronounce everything so differently. Our Rs don't sound like their Rs. Our Rs are so fucking germanic, not soft Rs like latin-based languages. Don't even get me started with the vowels.
So yeah, I'm pretty fucking sure they have a stereotype. Try speaking japanese with an American accent, you can totally tell it's sounds fucking weird. And vice versa.
