pronunciation of sage

Am i the one who pronounce "sage" as [seɪdʒ] even if they know it's a Japanese word and shall be [sage]? It's some kind of reflex, i can't do it another way.

I'm Finnish and I pronounce sage like the Japanese do (i.e. the CORRECT way). People who say [seɪdʒ] are idiots and need to die.
