Just in case you're not Japanese, 懸念が想起される is unnatural or wordy at best. Some may think it as tautology. Also, 想起 is used only when you're referring to something that happened in the past so it sounds as if there had been a similar thread that ended up packed with Japanese. It's ok if that's what you meant though.
To answer your rhetorical question, I suppose it's hardly possible that Japanese outnumbers English speakers on English boards. Certainly 4chan is one of the most weeaboo-ish sites on the internet so it's not very unusual to think like that, but just because it revolves around moon culture doesn't mean there are a lot of Japanese posters. Time will tell how it goes.

日本語を学ばれている方かもしれませんので一言付け加えておきますと、"想起"という語は読んで字のごとく"過去のことを思い起こす"という意味です。もちろん過去に同様なことがあったのでしたら正しい使い方です。
あなたの懸念に関してですが、今から心配しても仕方ないのではないでしょうか。もちろん、そういう可能性があるとは思います。いずれにせよ、時が経てばわかるでしょう。
