does anyone know of any other good <b>free</b> sites to learn of?
or any decent textbooks? good text books on any language are a rarity though

I advise finding someone to learn with, it's much much quicker, and helps with the pronunciation and fluency part.

You can also get Hungarian keyboard stickers for the Hungarian keys if you decide to add an extra keyboard layout. It's not really hard to remember, though.
