nordic languages

sup /lang/ I was thinking about learning a nordic language, no particular reason why, just bored. Which in your opinion would be the best to learn? I leaning towards norwegian since it's apparently related to swedish and danish, so this could potentially make it easier to understand them with more ease, plus easier to learn later in life.

Opinions? Rants? Wild accusations of homosexuality?

lrn2logic, idiot.  Languages are not determined by (modern) political borders, but rather, by its history, development and relationship to other languages.  You don't know anything about studying languages, and you just revealed that.  Finnish is NOT indo-european, and all Scandinavian (Northern Germanic) languages, by definition, are.
