Could somebody please translate the following sentences from German into grammatical English please?

Don't try a translator, it doesn't make sense, I need someone who is fluent or knows how to convert words, please. :)


Ich frohnte der Wollust, so frohnete er auch; doch des roten Nasses Weg erstrebet nicht der Liebe's Schaft.

Werden alte "Ich"-s auch wiedergeboren? Dann hatt ich gern nen guten Freund und meinen Geliebten zuruck.

I'm actually not sure if I understand it correctly myself (all umlauts being omitted doesn't help either), but here's my shot at it:

I indulged myself in lust, and he indulged himself too; But the path of the red wetness is not what love's shaft [penis?] strives for.

Frohnen literally means serving (e.g. a god), and Liebe's Schaft might also refer to Liebschaft, meaning approximately love affair. So here's an alternate translation:

I obediently served the lust, and so did he; But love's essence does not strive for the red wetness's path.

Second sentence is easier:
Are old "ego"'s, too, subject to rebirth? If so, I'd like to have a good friend and my beloved one back.
