Rosetta Stone

Is rosetta Stone actually any good? i started using for japanese (obv) but i need supplementary material to learn properly. this is just learning by rote.. its stupid in my opinion without grammar accompaniment.

Learning by rote is very important in Japanese (and East Asian) culture, so Rosetta Stone is perfect for learning Japanese!
