I take it that you don't know anything about Finnish culture?
When it comes to architecture, habits, traditions, food culture, the genetic makeup of the Finnish people, etc., Finland is a near-perfect carbon copy of the so-called Scandinavian countries. Granted, we have our own distinct stuff, but it's not like the culture of Norway and Sweden would be any more similar to each other than the culture of Finland and Sweden.
The only thing that is radically different is the Finnish language, and I don't think that's hardly a reason to exclude Finland from Scandinavia. In fact, the reason to exclude Finland seems to be entirely political, even racist, and not based on any notions of culture. A hundred years ago it was widely thought that Finns were simply blond and blue-eyed Mongoloids, akin to the Japanese and the Chinese. Genetics eventually proved them wrong, but the idea that "we're better than they are" has stayed in the subconscious of modern Norwegians, Swedes and Danes, whether they're aware of it or not.
