If your textbook mentions "je" or "jij", that is wrong. It should be "ge" and "gij". This is a common mistake.

Don't listen to this guy.
"Ge" and "gij" are the uncouth Flemish bastard child language equivalents of our proper Dutch "je" and "jij". If you have any interest in not sounding like an airheaded tosser, use the proper Dutch version.

Also, use Anki for your vocabulary. This goes for everyone trying to learn any language.

Once you get better, practise your Dutch with dubbed Disney films and stuff. That's what I do to practise my French and German.

Just switch all the "c"s for "k"s and "i"s for "j"s, use two vowels when you could use only one, mix up some poorly-written german words, stuff like that, and there is your frisian(and dutch) translation
