JET Program

Just wondering if 4chan has anyone who was, is, or is hoping to join the JET Program.

Failing that, is anyone employed as a teacher of English as a secondary language? Are you in a predominantly English-speaking country, or not?

I want to know what experiences people have with teaching English as a secondary language. I want to know what are the hardest parts, the most rewarding parts, the surprising parts... What advice or cautionary tales people might have.

More than anything, though, I want to know if there are any other 4channers waiting to hear back on whether they have an interview with the JET Program.

tl;dr: is it can be seriose discussion tiem nao pls

haha yeah... such a win country at times

If teaching English is what you want to do this is a good step, but in Japan, you will need a University degree, to be anything more than a tutor.

In Australia we have a similar course (TESOL) but its world wide rather then just Japan. Is it Japan you are interested in only?
