Use this thread to ask noob Swedish questions.

This one's embarrassing, mainly because I'm so new at it but I really want to learn it so I can gtfo /amerikkka/.
What's the difference between "är inte" och "som inte"?

Name: Anonymous 2007-11-17 17:50

är = to be
som = as

Name: Anonymous 2007-11-18 15:33

Well, är is a verb and som is usually a conjunction. Other than as, som can also mean who, that and like.

Examples of how you use "som inte" (if used with inte it always means that/who):

Bilen som inte fungerar.
Mannen som inte kunde svenska.
Språket som inte var enkelt.

Don't change these.
