machine translation

What machine translation application do you prefer for translation, either for just deciphering a text, or editing it by hand afterwards for a professional result, and why?
The main contenders in this field seem to be Systran and Reverso.  Correct or incorrect?  And do their quality in translating different languages differ a lot?  Does any one of them get even a small part of semantics correct?  I am currently learning French (with Rosetta 2, still on level 1), so I can't judge for myself.

IM Translator is fairly good, in my opinion. Just don't use it for asiatic languages, it will only end in tears.
