Well Ive been wondering; what would be the effect of a world language (Also Im doing a study about the affect a world language would have). It would replace ordinary second language in schools untill all educated people could read and write in it. What are your views?

World language would need:

Declensions for different word orders,
Short words/syllables,
Easy to pronounce,
Able to me memorized easily.

Esperanto tried to do this, but it mainly became a cluster of european languages.

Imo, you'd need to make a language completely different from any others, e.g. no roots in any other languages, but still holding the same basic needs as stated above.
