Okies, so I'm learning Japanese through a copy of Rosetta Stone, cool, right? Yeah, except I've run into a problem. For those of you not familiar with Rosetta Stone, one of the excercises is that you have four pictures and a phrase or word on your screen. A native speaker says the phrase or word, then you click on the image. Now that's great and all, and I can say "Otokonohito wa otokonoko o oikakete imasu" and I can relate it to a picture of a man chasing a boy. Then by looking at other pictures I can kinda puzzle things out. My problem is a couple words that I can't figure out. Can I have a translation for these couple phrases? Yeah, I know I'm only on level two, but this is really annoying me.
Otokonohito wa koronde imasu.
Inu wa tobikoete imasu.
Onnanoko wa tobikoete imasu.
Otokonohito wa suberi ochite imasu.
I've got all my nouns straight, but it's the verb or whatever that word that describes the action, that's confusing me.
