sup /lang/. I'm currently double majoring in Mandarin Chinese and Italian. I've got the chance to spend my next year abroad, but I can't decide whether to spend a year in italy, a year in china, or a semester in each. I know it's a personal decision, but I just wonder if anyone's had any experience (postive/negative) in these countries that they'd care to share.

I'm not going to base my choice solely off of this. DO you seriously fucking think I haven't talked to other people? Are you so fucking arrogant that you think /lang/ was the only place I was going to ask, and it was going to be the sole factor in my decision? I'm here because I would like to here opinions. Or not.
