Questions to people learning Japanese

1. Who are you? (Age, sex, location and everything else you are willing to tell us)
2. Why are you learning Japanese.

I'm asking this because I want to know if the people who are trying (notice the word 'trying') to learn Japanese are just a bunch of weeaboo faggots, or if they have a more sane reason to do so.

Yes, I know what you mean. I do a good amount of my learning not with a textbook, but by conversing with Japanese friends of mine. I find that often helps me more than a textbook could. Of course, textbooks have their uses, as well...
