Japanese: Taru adjectives.

I've wondered about what "adj-t" in dictionaries is, and the help file for my dictionary says it's a ""taru" adjective". This doesn't really help me, as I do not know what a taru adjective is. The only additional information I was able to dig up was this: "adj-t - "taru" adjective. ト・タル形容動詞 Uses "-to" to form an adverb."

Can anybody explain to me or link me to a site that explains what a taru adjective is? Thanks in advance.
