"Recibe aumento en los campos de acción que tocan al sentimiento" = No sé. Quizás significa..."Stands out in areas where they use sympathy" o algo por el estilo??

He/She expresses his/herself by his/her simpathy* for the others, people might as well like or dislike him/her.

*don't really know if that's the exact word for comprensión:

comprensión (in that context): ability to understand others' feelings and to help them with them
