Well, if you're going into a medical or scientific field, it is useful, just as Greek is. It'll give you a lot larger vocabulary.
I'd recommend learning a language that isn't dead, though.

It will be the language of government when I conquer the world, so I advise learning it.
Also, you get to pretentiously talk about latin literature all the time. Just make sure you also learn attic greek if that's whay you're planning to do.
