Learning Swedish!

Name: eku 2006-03-08 17:13

Jag försöker lära mig svenska.

(Ok, I had to ask help at irc to that. I suck that much.)

So, could someone tell me some good English site/program which would teach me Swedish easily?
I'm native Finnish speaker, but I just don't understand shit when I'm trying to learn Swedish in Finnish.
And because some say that English and Swedish are grammatically quite close each other, I thought to myself, "why not to learn it in English then".
And I belive it would also be much easier for me, because I (want to) think that I'm good enough in English to learn other languages by using it.

Alltså, hjälp?

Vet inte riktigt...
Well.. You could try reading comics translated into swedish to get a feel for it.. maybe some of Hergés works? Watching some movies or such?

Sverige och Finland är ju ganska nära varandra. Varför inte åka hit och bo här en period? Bästa sättet att lära sig språket!

Since Sweden and Finland are so close to each other, why not come live here, for a while? That's the best way to learn any language.
