What would your idea of the perfect imageboard? I'm currently making one and I'd like some ideas for features to add.

Less is more. e.g. no video embedding, no flags, no fortunes, no backlinking quick reply AJAX bullshite. In fact, just no JavaScript whatsoever.
Maybe I'm biased because I'm sort of old-fashioned puritan who hates change, but this has always been one of the biggest strengths of an image board to me. A focus on content, not on widgets.

That's partly what I'm aiming for. I want the board to be very sharp and straight-forward. There will be some Javascript, but I'm making good sure to use it properly.
