Some are neat and really well done. Others are pretty shitty. Still, refreshing new banners are refreshing.

Too many generic images with "4chan" hastily overlaid. And people have even done that badly.

I know some of the previous banners were like that, but you'd think with literally hundreds of new ones moot would have done some quality control.

That being said, I don't think moot really cared about the banners sent to him as long as they weren't clearly shit.

Yeah, a lot of them surprised me and even made me laugh (the Jackie Chan one is brilliant).

Though I'll admit I'm sort of happy he kept the anime/Japanese theme going. I know 4chan has changed but it's nice to respect our roots. Liking anime or at least tolerating it should pretty much be a prerequisite for posting on 4chan.
