Cloudflare sucks so much ass. Their only purpose is to bring down the site.

They probably don't care about 4chan since it is an adult website.
I'm getting cloudflare fucking everywhere, in any browser I try.
Tried wiping my cache and cookies to no avail.
Yet status.4chan.org says everything is up.
What the fuck is this bullshit.

It says everything is up because the status check uses your connection to test. When it does, CloudFare sends a snapshot of the webpage, and the check passes as OK.
Just tried it again on a fresh browser install with every trace of the old nuked from orbit with CCleaner. Still seeing posts from April.

The Amazon Cloud crash took out Netflix, Instagram and others. The ripple from that took out random shit like APoD and Draco. Then Cloudflare collapsed, shortly followed by the BoA ATM system.
Small goats are involved.

It's even worse than that. The status page checks whether the servers are up by checking a file on each one called "ping.js".
(Example: http://boards.4chan.org/ping.js)
The bad part is that CloudFlare considers .js files to be static content. This means that they're cached, and look completely the same regardless of whether the site is up or down. And even if cloudflare didn't cache the script, your browser probably would if you visited the status page while the site was up. This is why it sometimes gives incorrect results.
What it should do is check the HTTP response. The cloudflare error returns "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable", which is probably how http://isup.me determines whether something is down. Of course moot doesn't really give a fuck about the status page, and I suppose we shouldn't either considering there are better status checkers out there.
