Anyways, it's getting so bad that there are once again threads dedicated to people circle-jerking over dubs and trips. Seriously, it's getting to be as bad as the ponyfags.

The problem with having secure tripcodes only is that they completely lack portability over different imageboard sites. That's why they're secure. The big problem with that is if a particular person needs to be verified, there needs to be a resource to be able to go by. Xarn does such with his ``About me'' page on his site, of course not everyone who posts with a name does. Also, some tripcode implementations are different, so you end up with different output on some sites as well. There should be some kind of standard for this, and I think that imageboards have become popular enough to warrant such a need.
