Has anyone been able to figure out and fix the problem where the verification box is empty on all boards.

Well, fuck. I´ve got the same problem right now. What do? Wait? Or is this a local problem (I see others posting on the boards, so they don´t seem to be affected).

Here´s what I "figured out":
reCaptcha is a subdomain/service of google.com
I noticed that not only the captcha box was not available, I could not connect to google.com (while other sites like google.de and google.ch etc would still work).
Started to panic, scanned my system for viruses and rootkits, checked the hostfile, everything seemed ok. Then I restarted my router to get a new IP adress and suddenly it worked again. I have no idea if the problem was my router or my internet provider, though.
