4chan Opera extension?

Name: Anonymous 2011-01-29 23:29

Is there an up-to-date version of the Firefox extension for Opera users? I'm pretty much dug in with Opera's mail service, but it sucks not being able to hide shitty threads.

Any Operafags use a similar add-on?

There's Fychan for Opera. http://fychan.fybertech.com/ Though, it hasn't been updated since 2009.

Then there's aeosynth's 4chan X userscript, which works with Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/51412

Enjoy.

Seems it requires a bit of script-editing for both to work correctly. Not really educated in the use of Javascript.

Not at all. It's pretty straightforward. You have to download the .js file, create a directory to put it in, put the location to the file in Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Content > JavaScript options, and then it should work.

Fychan already has instructions on how to install it right on its web page, and the same exact method is used for installing 4chan X. If you're having trouble downloading the .js file, just right click and "save as". No script editing involved.

Don't change these.
