/b/ is down for sure, but still the home page is here, and i kep seing posts on different boards on the homepage where it shows last posted pic and replies.
Seriously 4chan brothers. Don't you think there isn't many people around to talk about it on the text borad ?
An idea came to me that, maybe, only some countries are encoutering this problem, maybe the rest of 4chan continues to live not knowing, that bros can"t access to /b/ anymore. And that some countries around the world have literally blocked 4chan.
Does it make sens to you ? Postyour country if you can't reach your favorite board.

It's simple. Do you all remember that just a short while ago some links were posted to a botnet LOIC so that Mastercard, Visa et al could be DDoS'd without any effort? Well, it worked perfectly and those sites were taken down.
The botnet that those retards were part of is now being used to DDoS the imageboards of 4chan.
In future, don't click any links on /b/.

I'm in the US.
Access IS NOT being blocked in certain countries, as OP has hypothesized.
I've been unable to connect for most of this evening, but I WAS able to connect to /b/ and /sp/ for a few minutes. I had about 20 minutes of unhindered access before losing connection.
It's not a "government ban". It's either a half-assed DDoS, or just some sort of internal software or server error or malfunction.
