I was banned for implying that a post in /v/ was viral marketing. (I didn't use >implying.)
For my appeal I made a reasoned argument as to why I had reason to believe that the thread may have been the effort of a viral marketer, and why such a discussion may have been valuable for the board. I felt pretty good about it considering I thought hard about my points and proofread my work, whereas I had seen screenshots of other people's appeals where they just take it as an opportunity to further insult a mod.
My appeal was denied. I bet it was the same butthurt mod that banned me. Saw my appeal and didn't give a shit and just said "why do I care to read this" and let me stay banned. Felt bad, man.
I dont know how to work any of this. I just got banned, IDK how to appeal. Can someone help me? I have no idea of how to work an IRC.

I was posting lolicon on /b/ once and got banned for CP. Appeal was denied, so I went to IRC and the mods said that it was all the same shit and then kick+banned(reason:pedo)'d me.
Naturally, I took the only proper course of action and emailed moot and called him a faggot.
Was just lurking the on /b/. accidentally posted text without a picture. "connection closed from a remote server" whenever I try to go on it. now. I don understand what I did wrong :(

I was living in an off-campus dorm that shared the internet connection among several rooms. How many rooms, I'm not sure, but it affected quite a few people when someone fucktard at the place decided to upload CP to... /b/ or something, I don't fucking know which board.
Anyway, the ban was supposed to be permanent, but the appeal turned into a big bitchfest between everyone at the dorms reporting in all their rooms and shit, and we actually wanted to go and find the asshole.
Never got around to it, though, because we mysteriously became unbanned. I moved away from there because that shit was terrible. Internet was slow as fuck, and if one person among 50 gets banned, YOU'RE FUCKED.
