Whenever I try making a post sometimes on 4chan's imageboards, I always get a screen saying Updating Index, and it sends me out of the thread and my post doesn't even get posted. Even when noko is in the email field.
I think this only happens on /v/ for some stupid reason.
Whenever I try making a post that has a image, it only goes through like 5% of the time. Other times it'll do the stupid updating index thing, the upload will fail, or it'll say that the connection has been reset.
Update: Leaving 4chan out of hosts file overnight (over power down?) seems to have fixed it.

when posting on the image boards, like /b/... hold shift then press enter when selecting any field but 'comment'.. this will trigger the "Updating Index" page...
im usin chrome, dunno if that matters

Just fixed it by clearing recent history.
On firefox
I am having the same problem. Clearing my history, cache, etc. did not help and posts only go through once in a blue moon. My hosts file comes up as the example, and unmodified. No clue what to do at this point. I am on google chrome if it matters.

I too have this problem. I checked the host file and see no mention of 4chan and have deleted my cache on the browser but still I get updating index.
I keep get banned as I haven't done nothing like downloading a photo last name they said I used the name Alice When I didn't. Not sure what is going on actually. I do wish they fix their issue with me.
As does any 1 else have this problem getting banned when you done nothing wrong too deserve this.
