My message board design

I'm in need of opinions on how my message board is presented. Obviously, it is the same old 2ch style with a different style sheet and quick reply removed.

I'd really like to know other people's opinions on the presentation. Do you feel like this is a board you'd like to post in? Is it intuitive? Is it inviting?

It sucks.  And I should know, since I'm totally moot.

It looks ugly, and someone who isn't familiar with 2ch style boards would be confused by it.

I think it looks elegant and simple. I agree with some points that >>3 stated, however the same could be said for here on World4ch (dis.4chan.org)

How can I make it less confusing? Should I move the thread list on the side on a separate column and remove all reples and show only the first post of the thread?

Maybe the replies, at least the ones shown on the front page, could be indented to separate them from the OP.
