Starting my own imageboard.

Now I have always wanted to start my small imageboard, however I have no idea how to. What do I need to download to get the software and how do I necessary install it?

I've been playing around with futaba.php for a few hours trying to allow files in replies but couldn't get anything. Any of you know how I would get this to work.
