For the last month or so /d has had nothing, but people asking for stuff, posting one pic threads (with no text in the OP), and other junk that is just cluttering up the board. At first I thought it was just n00bs, but since just about every such thread has recieved complaints along the lines of GB2 /r, I'm starting to suspect it's a troll.
Can /d have a few more janitors to clean up the excessive requesting/trolling (and hopefully prune the inactive ones)? It's gotten to the point that I regularly see three or four such topics on the first page alone. If all the junk threads were deleted it wouldn't surprise me that two or three pages of content would automatically be freed up.

Aside from the requesting and trolling there have also been a rare occasion that someone thought /d was tech support (I forget the problem, but I think it involved either an emulator or a ROM), not to mention a few people who thought that /d magically became /e. Seriously, the mods/janitors aren't doing their job, and it's starting to show. Don't even start with the report system; I report just about every thread there is, and the OP doens't even get banned. In fact the only time I saw actual work being done is where some idiot tried posting child porn; the thread was gone within ten minutes.

What are the disadvantages of using the xChan Dumper to sagebomb the fuck out of every troll and /b/tard thread across all the porn boards so that the threads auto-delete faster?
I... have a friend who wants to know.
The only disadvantage is that sagebombing "may result in a ban" but really if it takes the mods six hours to delete one request they won't notice one little sagebomb.

The xChan Dumper is a pile of crap. That's the biggest issue anyway.
The old version uses Java which is annoying as fuck and the new version has like a 50-second post limit.

It will safe time/effort with trying to get the point across that requests go in /r, and also one pic posts with requests for MAOR are not welcome. Why have they been coming to /d/ in the first place? I think the "offenders" are misunderstanding what Hentai/Alternative means, and since they don't read rules or give two shits about the way 4chan works, they end up fucking up the board. All of the porn boards are like this, unfortunately, but a relatively slow board like /d/ is crippled by crapfloods.
Also, there really should be a stickied reminder to delete misfires. Some of the newer well-meaning contributors are not familiar with deleting posts at all, and the misfires cause good threads on autosage to be deleted faster.
