More than a year ago, probably someone spammed CP somewhere in 4chan. I'm not sure what was it exactly. Not very long after this, moot banned some ISPs from posting, and put this in the FAQ:
>Currently, users on the Comstar Direct (Russia/.ru), VTR (Chile/.cl), Velox (Brazil/.br), and RDS.Link (Romania/.ro) networks are disallowed from posting. This block is due to repeated abuse coming from these ISPs/countries. At present, there is no way to exempt a specific user from these blocks—we apologize for the inconvenience.
Seeing how this problem is most likely already solved and the guys who did it that time are probably using proxies, I ask if these bans are ever going to lift. Even though I have a strong feeling they won't, and an even stronger feeling that nobody's going to read this.
It's funny how these bans seem to not apply to the textboards or /f/, though.
