experimental boards

/r9k/ seems to be working.  It could do with some janitors and mods - but maybe it has those and they do stuff discretely.

what experimental boards would you have?  Or what features would you add to an experimental board?

I'd turn on "forced subject line for thread starter" - that makes using the 4chon extension much better.

I'd think about allowing mods to increase mute times / mute people for posts they make that include nothing funny or insightful and that also have a muteblock.

I'd like a better sage. One sage from one IP == 1, two sages from two IPs ==2, three sages from three IPs == 4 etc.

Some threads are so bad I'd use a self-sacrifice "suicide sage" - I'd take a 5 hour mute to drop a thread by 5 pages.  two mutes would kill a thread.

suicide saging sounds cool.  I take a 5 hour mute but that thread gets no bumps in five hours?  I'd use it.

a version /r9k/ but with user voting sounds like it could be fun.  There's a gentle problem with some users sage bombing threads that are original content.

m<3<3t has said that its pretty hard to moderate 4chan now.  Some boards seem to do okay.

Some boards aren't doing as well.

The site has rules, but they're often not enforced.  I guess BUCBW that many people would like better enforcement of rules outside /b/.  Thus "Yes lol meutblokc" in /r9k/ == ban, or consolewarring/trolling in /v/ == ban

A version of /r9k/ but with forced subject for first post in thread, forced images, text not needed.

This would -i hope- encourage people to use image modification for good effect.   Having to save a file and upload it takes time, mashing a "muteblock oudfhnla" is instant.

you could abuse the suicide sage easily.

and killing absolutely good threads.
