what the fuck is with people saying sage only works once? is it gaiafaggotry or was something changed?

I think sage is supposed to 'work' by adding 1 to the post count, like any other post, but while not bumping the thread.  Supposedly higher post counts leads to earlier thread deletion. 

I've once heard someone comment though that since the imageboards have so much activity post count never comes into play, so saging does nothing. If people don't like getting saged I guess it is doing its job regardless.
