autodelete button

idea: put and autodelete-by-majority button that works like the report button but after a set number of unique ips click it, the offending thread get autodeleted. that way the janitors/mods don't have to around all the time. people will probably abuse it, but at least it'll keep the threads fresh.

I agree with this idea, the only problem about that is the abusing thing, in which case just make the number of IPs stupidly big like 20 or something.

If the idea is rejected, then just resort to sagebombing threads without getting caught. Simple.

the report button has a "you have already reported, wait awhile" message so a similar thing could be done just make the wait time really long. sagebombs are impossible to do when there are tons of "pic not related" or troll threads.
i think it should be tried (i'd think it would just be a extension of the report feature, but i'm not sure) for a trial run. those off topics posts are getting out of control since most seem to think no one is gonna ban/delete them. that "catch me if you can" attitude is ruining the boards. sometimes i think i clicked on /b/ by mistake.

I have a better idea: for the Report thingy, have a text bar in which you need to type in why you're reporting the post. If a post recieves so many reports that feature codewords like "furry" or "loli" - stuff which can get you permabanned - then it dies automatically. People can't really abuse that because they don't know what other people have written, and naturally such a system doesn't need to be implented on /b/.
