2. Move mouse to Save Image As on the menu
3. Click mouse

Download DownThemAll! extension for Firefox.
Create a new filter for links, using /http:\/\/.*\/src\// as the expression.
Now, you can download the full sized links to a whole thread.

Alternatively, you could get the "not4chan grab" extension, which as an added bonus saves the files in their original filenames.
