That brings up some interesting topics. The whole point of an anonymous board is to get rid of the circle jerking you see in a regular forum. On the opposite end of the scale is the Something Awful forums. There, the posts generally have a high quality, with a lot of thought put in, but absolutely no one will take you seriously unless you registered half a decade ago and have been posting every day sucking your seniors' dicks.
Here, we don't have that problem, but there's all the desu-fags who really aren't interested in creating quality- they're just interested in ruining it for everyone else. They're the same kind of people who team-kill in online games, and they're with us to stay.
Meanwhile, a lot of people seem to be doing their best to get 4chan shut down. "Hey guys, let's DDoS a website! Let's harass some kid we won't like! Let's commit egregious copyright violations in seeming contempt for the original author/artist!" They seem to be trying, and eventually they will succeed.
