4chan frames

hay guys. I'm wondering how 4chan is actually keeping the right page in the frames when hitting refresh/reload.

If you copy paste the 4chan frameset to a file and load 2 different website in the frameset and then click on a link, if you hit refresh it will take you back to the original frame pages...

How does 4chan keep refreshing the right page correctly?( let say i'm on /b/ and i hit refresh, it wont reload the frontpage instead of remaining on /b/
