Porn only request board?

I've been thinking, /r is really damn saturated with porn.  Not that this is bad.  However, it frequently is so to the exclusion of just about everything else, which is frequently pushed off the page by the porn.  I've been thinking that it might be nice to have a porn only request board and free up /r for just about everything else.  Thoughts?

Could be a good idea.  On the other hand, it might slow down responses to requests by splitting the /r/ traffic across two boards.  As an alternative, the size of /r/ could be increased, but it's at 15 pages already, so that might not be a good idea.

OP here.  Increasing the number of pages would just add more porn volume and wouldn't solve the problem.  Maybe the porn one could have fewer pages since it tends to generate faster responses than other threads and therefore the requester wouldn't need to wait as long.

i've always had the idea to make /r/ more like an ad that runs across all boards (separate ws vs. nsfw requests) instead of a separate imageboard on its own. honestly, how many of all 4chan users would dig through /r/ and look for requests to fulfill?

The problem is that people already have a hate of /requests showing up in reg image boards, something I find to be retarded.  What you're suggesting seems like it'd also decrease the viewable area of each board.  Personally, I'd rather do away with /r and just do /r stuff in the imageboards proper since even when you do get a response for an /r, half the time it's just /b/ posts anyway.  In any case, there's gotta be some way we can arrange it so people can actually get requests met.  As for why ppl help, there is *some* semblance of a community here, and it's not much for ppl to simply upload a pic.  That and ppl check /r/ just to find new stuff, too.
